MADRID, ApHISPASAT, the Spanish satellite services and solutions operator and provider of the Red Eléctrica Group, has reached an agreement with ENTEL, a leading telecom company in Chile, to extend the direct-to-home (DTH) managed service that it provides to the entire country until the end of 2024. The Amazonas fleet of satellites, located at 61º West, together with the teleport of HISPASAT Peru located in Lurín allow the companies to offer the most cutting edge and flexible multimedia solutions by satellite in all of Latin America.
